Flavia, you’re an amazing performer. What is some advice you’d give to new cam girls?
Not to put yourself in that cam girl box. Don’t perform so much as just be yourself. Do what turns you on and be genuine with your followers, and they’ll respond. If you’re faking it, they’ll tell right away.
How did you learn that lesson?
I did standard cam shows at the beginning. I squirt, so I leaned on that and did these bimbo type airhead porn shows, because I thought that’s what people wanted. I didn’t have good audiences. Once I started doing what I enjoyed, the followers and money started flowing in. Now I host a regular free show for new users.
You have an interesting username, how did you decide on that.
I learned English watching American cartoons as a kid. Flavia always had a draw for me, with her trench coat and mystery. My last name is Santa Cruz Santiago, so it worked for a name. I wear a trench coat with nothing but stockings under it for some of my shows, especially the free ones. It helps users connect with me and my general personality.
What is your favorite thing to do after a show?
I go out and get ice cream. There’s a great little ice cream shop right down the road and I get a big chocolate cone and sit down with it. Then sometimes I’ll go shopping, partly because I love to shop when I’m feeling that cocky, after-show high, and partly to avoid cleaning up my set right away!
What music do you like?
I listen to a lot of 90s goth stuff to get me in the mood. Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, and even some Type O Negative. It relaxes me and increases my confidence when I’m having a bad day.
You mentioned wearing stockings during your show. What’s your favorite wardrobe item for shows?
Probably my boots. Yeah, definitely. I shine them up til they’re glossy and perfect and when I run my fingers over the laces, my viewers go nuts. So many of them want to lick my boots, it feels like cheating not to include them in the show.
